Dr. de la Luz has extensive training in anxiety disorders spanning back to 1996 while she attended the University of Texas at Austin. She is originally from Michigan. She completed her Masters of Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University (NSU) in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. She wanted to more comprehensively clarify answers to her clients’ presenting concerns and found that many therapeutic questions could be answered by conducting and interpreting neuropsychological and psychological-educational assessments. She therefore attained her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Nova Southeastern University.
